In 2023, MBA education of School of Business Administration (SBA) continued to build China's most distinctive MBA education program integrating economics, management and law, and made steady progress in overall development and won a total of 46 awards in many fields.
In September, at the 21st China MBA Development Forum, Prof. Wu Haitao, Dean of the School, and Prof. Wen Hao, Vice Dean of the School, were honored with the 2023 China MBA Cultivation Institutions Pilot Award, and 12 MBA alumni were honored with the 2023 China MBA Rookie 100 and the 2023 China MBA Rookie 100 awards respectively. On September 16th, our MBA team won the Best Rising Star team award in the 9th National Management Case Competition (2023) in Central China. In November, in the 5th Asia-Pacific Business School Longxianghai Cross-country Challenge, our MBA team won 5 team awards including Best Organization Award and Golden Kirin Award and 2 individual awards.
On December 2nd, 2023 CCTV MBA Annual Conference, SBA received 5 awards. Prof. Wu Haitao, Dean of the SBA was awarded Business Leader of the Year, and School's MBA WeChat Public Publicity Ranking won the 1st place in the 2023 Chinese Business School MBA WeChat Brand Operation Institutions Labor Model Sub-list.
On December 9th, in the 15th China MBA Annual Conference, Prof. Wu Haitao, Dean, and Prof. Du Peng, Academic Director of MBA Center, led MBA alumni to win 11 awards.
On 11th December 2023, China Business School Development Forum and Education Ceremony, MBA program of SBA won 2 team awards and 5 individual awards. Prof. Wu Haitao, Dean of the SBA, won the 2023 Chinese Business School Outstanding Dean Award, and Prof. Wen Hao, Vice Dean of the SBA, and Prof. Du Peng, Academic Director of MBA Education Center, won the 2023 Chinese Business School Operational Excellence Award.
In order to respond to the national concept of dual carbon and improve the education system of green business, SBA successfully held the forum of Responsibility, Innovation and Sustainable Development on 16th December 2023, and released the first ESG report of MBA education in mainland China, which was highly valued and concerned by counterparts and many media.
In the future, SBA will continue to implement the fundamental task of cultivating people with moral character, to be vigorous and resolute, and to build the Zhongnan Pai in the field of business education in China and the world.
